Compact, versatile and easy to pull
The compact Heliodor compact disc harrow can be used for shallow stubble cultivation on light and medium soils or for seedbed preparation. Its low weight allows high working speeds with low power requirements and therefore powerful cultivation. The Heliodor is available in working widths of 3 - 16 metres and can be combined in a variety of ways for sowing, catch crop sowing or slurry spreading.

Frame and discs
The Heliodor works with 2 rows of serrated concave discs with a diameter of 510 mm:
- Line spacing: 12.5 cm
- Beam spacing: 70 or 95 cm
- Frame height: 54.5 cm
- Working depth: up to 12 cm
Its short, compact structure with an optimum centre of gravity enables it to be used on lighter tractors that have a lower lifting capacity. The Heliodor is therefore available in mounted versions up to 7 m working width. Semi-mounted versions are available from 4 - 7 metres wide and trailed models from 8 - 16 metres.
The effect of the Heliodor discs

Each disc is individually attached to the frame via leaf springs for precise depth control. In contrast to rubber buffers, leaf springs guarantee that the discs have significantly higher track stability during operation.

The discs also act as automatic overload protection. The disc working depth can be adjusted separately in the tractor track to achieve an optimum levelling effect.

The high-quality angular ball bearings (green) guarantee the discs always function flawlessly. The bearings are fully sealed so that no dirt can penetrate. An additional labyrinth seal (red) locks the bearing in from the outside. The lockable sturdy steal cover (yellow) prevents coiled up wire or twine from destroying the seal.

Perfectly adapted
From working widths of 5 metres, the Heliodor's disc sections are pendulum-suspended under the frame. Regardless of the chassis unit, the self-levelling suspension ensures that the implement runs smoothly while adapting the depth control to the contours of the field. There are further ways to adapt the compact disc harrow to your conditions.
The trailing roller from the wide range of rollers ensures the right reconsolidation and precise depth control. In the basic version the working depth on the roller can be changed quickly and easily via perforated adjustment plates with pins. The depth can be adjusted even more conveniently with optional hydraulic working depth settings. This enables you to alter the depth quickly and easily from the cab while in motion.
Its numerous adjustment options mean that the robust headstock can be quickly adapted to a variety of tractors. To guarantee good penetration in hard soils, additional weights can be integrated into the headstock. Up to 400 kilos for rigid implements and up to 500 kilos for folding variants. The Heliodor can also be equipped with a cat. 3 or 4 N quick hitch to provide a
quick and easy connection between the tractor and implement.
The compact disc harrow can optionally be fitted with 150 mm wide suspended levelling tines either in front of or behind the concave discs. They ensure that the seedbed is optimally levelled, especially after ploughing. The pitch of the levelling tines is easy to adjust hydraulically from the cab.
Optional boundary discs are available to ensure precise pass alignment. They can be easily adjusted using bolts to quickly adapt them to the specific conditions of use.

The Heliodor compact disc harrow can be combined in many ways, with seed drills for sowing, catch crop sowing or slurry spreading.
Powerful teams for sowing
All mounted and semi-mounted pneumatic seed drills up to 6 m working width can be combined with the Heliodor for seedbed preparation. A combination axle is required for the semi-mounted versions.
Perfect slurry spreading
In combination with the slurry kit (DosiMat DMX precision distributor from Vogelsang), the Heliodor sets new standards. Together, they ensure efficient work processes, optimum nutrient utilisation and high output behind the slurry tank.
A quick way to intercropping
The Seedhub catch crop seed drill can be easily mounted on the Heliodor. This means that the catch crop can already be sown during stubble cultivation, saving labour time and costs.
