LEMKEN wins special prize for innovation in Budapest

AGROmashEXPO in Budapest is Hungary's leading agricultural trade fair and a highlight at the start of every season. In addition to showcasing new machinery and providing a forum for direct exchange between farmers, customers and consultants, it also offers a stage for innovations. Following the DLG silver medal at Agritechnica, the iQblue fan automation automatic fan control system has now also received an award in Hungary: it won the ‘Special Innovation Award’. iQblue fan automation was on display at the trade fair in Budapest on the new LEMKEN Solitair NT direct seed drill.

This award confirms LEMKEN's commitment to innovation and, above all, its focus on real practical benefits. iQblue fan automation was developed with the aim of fully automating the operation of the fan in pneumatic seed drills and continuously monitoring the air system. Malfunctions such as blocked lines or leaks are detected immediately. They manifest themselves as deviations in the air volume from the set value. This prevents situations in which a supposedly ‘correct’ fan speed gives a false sense of security, even though no air is being delivered due to blocked lines. Operating errors and inefficient settings – with the well-known consequences of uneven distribution and even machine failure – can thus be significantly reduced. The result is precise sowing, high energy efficiency and noticeably greater ease of use. iQblue fan automation is used in the LEMKEN Solitair NT direct seed drill, among other machines.

The Hungarian expert jury also emphasised that the automated fan control system is not only technologically impressive, but also offers users economic and ecological advantages. The award thus underlines that LEMKEN is driving developments that not only accompany modern agriculture, but also actively shape it.
