Leading implements

A well-prepared seedbed is essential for even field emergence. Different soils place different demands on production methods and therefore also on the implements used.

The Solitair ST offers a range of options to create the best possible conditions for the double disc coulters. Depending on the soil, a plastic trapezoidal roller, corrugated discs or a levelling tine section may be the method of choice.

Trapezoidal plastic roller

The Solitair ST can be fitted with a plastic trapezoidal roller for well defined row pre-consolidation. The roller ensures excellent reconsolidation and therefore the most important characteristic: improved seed-soil contact. The roller pressure can be continuously adjusted from the tractor terminal.

Corrugated disks

Corrugated discs provide less intensive mixing of the soil. They are particularly suitable when weed germination is to be suppressed. On dry fields, corrugated discs also allow seedbed preparation with minimal water use, as the discs only loosen the area in front of the seed coulters. The targeted, strip-by-strip loosening of the soil in front of the coulters reduces the tractive force required.

Levelling tine section

Tillage can leave uneven surfaces, whether the soil is tilled with a plough or mixed deeply with a cultivator. Levelling tines give the best results when breaking up coarse clods of soil. Levelling tine sections can be used in both drag and grip position. The pressure can be adjusted from the tractor terminal.

Everything on board

There are several important aspects to consider for the seed hopper of a seed drill to ensure efficient sowing : Capacity and hopper layout for flexibility and adaptability.

The LEMKEN Solitair ST has a 6,000 litre plastic hopper with a 50:50 split and is already suitable for fertiliser and pressure resistant in the basic version. It is also optionally available with 7,000 litre capacity (60:40). The round plastic screw-on lid is fitted with a hopper filter and keeps the hopper sealed at all times. The opening is generously dimensioned with a diameter of 500 mm to enable fast filling directly from a BigBag or via an optional filling auger with an overloading height of 2.7 m.

Behälter der Solitair ST von LEMKEN

The basic version of the Solitair ST is fitted with four dosing units per hopper half, each of which supplies one distributor with seed. This allows manual section control to be implemented even in the basic configuration.

For greater comfort, automatic section control is available as an option and can be controlled via Section Control.

The dosing units also ensure that the machine is ready for single-shot drilling. Each of the four distributors on the coulter bar
can be supplied with both components (single-shot). This allows fertiliser or another component to be applied together with
the seed in a single seed furrow.

To ensure that the correct amount of seed is applied, the calibration test can be carried out conveniently from the side of the
machine. There are three options for starting and running the calibration test: from the tractor terminal with calibration test start
button, from the calibration terminal on the dosing unit and from the iQblue Go app.

Precisely targeted placement

The coulter bar is the essential component of the Solitair ST and is decisive for successful plant growth. It ensures seed placement and reconsolidation and therefore good field emergence.

Seeding depth adjustment

The independent adjustment of the seeding depth and coulter pressure ensures precise seed placement, especially in changeable soils. The position of the pressure roller in relation to the double disc coulter, and therefore the drilling depth, can be easily adjusted by turning the coulter bar via two screws.

Contour tracking

The contact pressure of the side sections can be conveniently adjusted from the tractor cab. To do this, the folding cylinders are pressurised to a higher pressure depending on the setting.

If the side sections need to follow the contours of the field, oil is returned from the cylinder via an unpressurised return line. This allows a downward tracking movement of up to 2.5 degrees and unrestricted upward movement.

For more comfort & flexibility

From machine control to data collection and processing, our iQblue smart farming tool ensures ease of use. iQblue’s digital solutions make your field work more efficient and speed up your office work. This gives you more time to do the important work. A software solution is only as good as its interfaces.

Think economically

The Solitair ST works with the ISOBUS-based iQblue drill operating concept. The layout manager allows user interfaces to be freely configured and stored in up to four driver profiles. This allows you to choose the logical structure and intuitive operation you require, whether on the LEMKEN CCI-1200 terminal or any universal ISOBUS terminal.

You can save farm input costs with the MultiBoom function. This option allows automatic, separate section control for fertiliser and seed. This prevents overlaps. It is also possible to process two application maps in parallel so that seed and fertiliser are only applied where they can be used efficiently.

To take full advantage of the Solitair ST’s flexibility, you can have a full side view of the machine displayed. This makes it easy to assign which component is to be applied via the coulter bar or the fertiliser bar.

Mobile work

The LEMKEN iQblue Go app brings control of the Solitair ST with a host of features to your mobile device of choice. You can, for example, use your smartphone or tablet to start a calibration test or drain residue from the hopper. Current seed or fertiliser fill level data is displayed on the app, so that farm inputs can be delivered to the field in good time and without downtime.

With the app, tramline tables are a thing of the past. The integrated tramline configurator in the app allows you to create tramline profiles on your mobile device or desktop PC and transfer them digitally to the Solitair ST.

Adapted to your conditions

Wheelmark eradicator

If drilling conditions are not optimal, unwanted tracks of both the tractor and the seed drill can be loosened. For the tractor tracks, this is achieved using an optional corrugated disc wheel mark eradicator, which can be adjusted to the width and sinking depth of the tyres.

For the Solitair ST tracks, there are wheel mark eradication tools that are directly connected to the coulter bar.

Harrow

For good levelling and seed coverage, a single harrow, which can be adjusted without tools using a precise locking mechanism, is the perfect complement to the double disc coulters. The single harrow reliably covers two seed rows and therefore adapts to a wide range of conditions.

Individual tramline creation

An optional integrated hydraulic tramline mechanism is available for the OptiDisc coulter bar. The symmetrical distribution of the seed tubes ensures absolutely even lateral distribution even in tramline mode. The seed rate is automatically reduced when the tramline is activated. Changing the distributor cartridges is easy, ensuring quick adaptation to different tramline systems, which greatly increases the flexibility of the machine – especially when it is used on multiple farms.
