Karat 12
- From 4 m to 7 m working width
- Tractors between 180 - 595 Hp | 132 - 441 kW
- Quadruple-beam
Ploughless tillage up to 30 cm
LEMKEN has developed the Karat 12 for both shallow and deep tillage, also in heavy soils. Four rows of tines produce the desired loosening and mixing effect, depending on the share type used.

Overview - Karat 12
8 shares - quickly changeable
With eight available share types and a quick-change system, the perfect combination of tools for any working conditions is always at hand.
Hard metal shares
- Deep soil loosening, very little soil mixing intensity
- Medium deep soil loosening, good soil mixing intensity, for light to medium soils
- Whole soil area tillage, low soil mixing intensity
- Whole soil area tillage, very good soil mixing intensity
Standard and hard-faced shares
- Deep soil loosening, very little soil mixing intensity
- Medium deep soil loosening, good soil mixing intensity, for light to medium soils
- Whole soil area tillage, low soil mixing intensity
- Whole soil area tillage, very good soil mixing intensity
Optimally leveled
Optimum levelling with concave discs. The discs and trailing unit are designed to form one element so that the discs do not need to be adjusted when the working depth changes.
Compact design
The chassis is integrated centrally between the tines and concave discs, making the Karat 12 extremely compact, stable and agile.
More weight? No problem!
The favourable weight distribution allows the use of heavy trailing rollers to achieve good reconsolidation.
Automatic overload protection as standard
The Karat 12 features maintenance-free automatic overload protection as standard. A deflection range of 20 cm and trigger forces in excess of 550 kg ensure that the tines remain firmly engaged with the soil.
Easy adjustment of working depth
The hydraulic depth adjustment allows operators to adjust the working depth continuously and comfortably via the trailing rollers during operation.
Would you like a little more?
The Karat 12 is optionally available with hydraulic traction booster and the ContourTrack electronic working depth adjustment.
