Ploughing at any working width without lateral forces
The precise plough adjustment is an important factor to minimise material wear and reduce fuel consumption. This is why LEMKEN has developed its unique Optiquick adjustment system.
Optiquick allows for easy and efficient adjustment of front furrow width, and tractor/plough pull line, independently of each other. Time and money are saved as a result.
The plough is perfectly adjusted if the tractor/plough pull line – in this case the line between Z and PZ – runs through the middle of the tractor’s rear axle M. Z is the point, where the imaginary extension lines of the lower links cross, PZ is the centre of the plough.
- Firstly, the front furrow width is adjusted. This is done by means of the outer turnbuckle. The tractor/plough pull line on picture 1 is not yet ideal, because the line between Z and PZ does not go through the middle of the rear axle.
- Lateral forces are eliminated by adjusting the inner turnbuckle until the tractor/plough pull line crosses the tractor’s rear axle in point M (picture 2). The width of the front furrow remains unchanged despite the pull point correction.
The unbeatable LEMKEN Optiquick adjustment system means the plough is easier than ever to pull. All bearings have wear-resistant bushes. Hardened bolts are greasable thus guaranteeing highest stability and long durability.
- Thanks to Optiquick and Vari technology, LEMKEN V ploughs always work smoothly and without side pull both for a narrow (Fig. 3) and wide working width (Fig. 4).
- Vari technology ensures that the front furrow width is automatically adjusted whenever the working width is changed.

Azurit 9 - The innovation of single-seed drilling
70% more space for each plant und up to 10% higher yields – that’s precision drilling with the triangular DeltaRow system of the Azurit 9. Further advantages are large tramlines without plant losses and central fertiliser placement. This makes the Azurit a true champion that earns your vote.
