Dr Geoffery Weisner appointed as new CFO
Successor for the long-standing head of our commercial department
Dr Geoffery Weisner will take over the reins of LEMKEN's commercial department from 1 January and at the same time join the other six members in our management team in Alpen. Dr Weisner graduated in business administration and has accrued extensive experience in the finance and management accounting departments of various renowned mechanical engineering companies, most recently as commercial director of Carl Geringhoff GmbH & Co. KG. The 48 year-old native Canadian is married with two children. LEMKEN's Managing Director Anthony van der Ley looks forward to a smooth transition: "We are delighted that we have been able to recruit Dr Weisner, an experienced specialist intimately familiar with the structures and needs of a medium-sized family business."
Dr Weisner will succeed Wilhelm van Zadelhoff, who has guided LEMKEN's financial affairs with keen instinct and prudent foresight for over 37 years. During Mr van Zadelhoff's term, LEMKEN increased its sales of agricultural machinery dramatically, with the most recent annual sales figures reaching EUR 345 million. With an export share of 72%, the company has to meet challenges regarding the management of its international subsidiaries, whose number has increased to 24. Mr van Zadelhoff will continue to support the transition until spring, before going into his well-deserved retirement.
