LEMKEN's new 8-furrow Diamant 11 finished best in class when put to the test by the "profi" journal. The Diamant only received positive ratings for every single one of the tested criteria.

With a range of 2.16 to 4.40 m, the LEMKEN Diamant has the largest adjustment range and thus the largest working width of the tested models. The CS50 slatted bodies produced high-quality results on the test fields. The rotating drawbar axle, which has been moved forward, was also identified as an advantage, as, combined with the 360-degree headstock, it ensures an effective tractor traction line and thus precise ploughing action.

Traction enhancement, a standard LEMKEN feature, is even awarded double bonus points: a weight of up to 1,130 kg is transferred from the plough to the rear tractor axle via the hydraulic cylinder at up to 200 bar pressure in order to increase tractor traction. The traction enhancement additionally improves road transport performance - being a lightweight compared to other manufacturers' implements, this LEMKEN plough can even be taken onto (German) roads!

Overload protection has also been cleverly resolved. The beam can be moved with the console, but is firmly attached; the bodies are able to deflect both upwards and to the sides without losing stability. The skimmers also received a special mention, as both their working depth and their throw angle can be adjusted. Finally, the furrow press capture arm was awarded double stars, as it only needs one single-acting control device and captures reliably and softly.

The full report can be found in the May issue of the "profi" journal.
