Mission #10: Hoeing without fatigue with the EC-Weeder
A new mission of the L-Team takes us to Lower Saxony. This time to the dedicated farmer Wilhelm Behn waits for the experts on the Behn farm. He grows classic market fruits and above all oil crops, especially sunflowers, for direct marketing.
Again the drought, among other things, confronts him with particular challenges: Late weeds and soil incrustations are affecting his sunflowers. He is looking for a solution to both control weeds in and between the rows and to break up the incrustations and mobilise nitrogen.
The L-Team is not far away and arrives to help Wilhelm with his challenges – in this episode with Steketee’s EC-Weeder. With the help of the precise camera control IC-Light, the hoe enables fatigue-free work day and night.
