Qualified apprenticeship is a traditional component of the future and growth-oriented LEMKEN corporate culture. Every fourth employee has started his or her career at LEMKEN with a successful apprenticeship. At our location in Alpen, we offer both technical and commercial apprenticeships as of 1 September each year.

The apprenticeship framework forms the basis of our well-founded training. Internal training courses optimally prepare the trainees for intermediate and final exams. Commercial or technical apprenticeships
In the commercial apprenticeships, the prospective commercial trainees are deployed in all commercial departments according to an individual job rotation plan. In doing so, we achieve a high degree of practical training relevance, so that the future career starters can start their professional career after completing their training, according to their inclinations. Due to our international business activities, we require basic knowledge of a foreign language (English, French, etc.).
With this apprenticeship, you have the opportunity to complete your studies at the FOM (University of Applied Sciences) in parallel to your in-company training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d). You will work in our training company during the day and attend your lectures in the evenings or at the weekend. After only three and a half years, you will have obtained both a Bachelor's degree and a Chamber of Industry and Commerce qualification and gained valuable professional experience.
The lectures take place in the FOM university study centres - parallel to the training in the company and the vocational school.
In the technical apprenticeships, all apprentices have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in various production areas in addition to their basic and technical training. In the process, the trainee gets a good overview of modern production processes and production control and learns how to act independently and entrepreneurially.
