In a ceremony LEMKEN general manager Dr. Franz-Georg von Busse and the director of the Chinese-German Industrial park Eco-City in Qingdao, Mr Zhao Xingshu, signed an investment contract for a construction site 16,500 m² large. German Ambassador in Peking, Dr. Michael Schäfer and the mayor for international relations and export of Qingdao city also took part in the celebration. In 10 million inhabitants city of Qingdao on the Yellow Sea in eastern China LEMKE will build an plant where machines for the booming Chinese market will be assembled. The construction site is already completely developed so the project will quickly proceed. Construction work will start in the beginning of 2012.
