High-efficiency mechanical seed drill technology for any conditions of operation

The mechanical seed drills from the Saphir range make reliable, high-efficiency seed drill technology accessible to small and medium-sized farms. The Saphir can be combined with various implements, including the Zirkon rotary harrow, for universal applications.

  • The spike wheel, maintenance-free cardan drive and continuously variable oil bath transmission ensure accurate and easy metering of seeds. Seeding rates between 0.5 and 500 kg/ha can be precisely set. The smooth operation of the seeding shaft guarantees a precise longitudinal distribution of seeds.
  • The hexagonal seeding shaft with quick-change system ensures that seed wheels can be easily exchanged to allow a great variety of seeds to be optimally metered.
  • LEMKEN offers the parallelogram-guided double disc coulter with depth control roller for precise seed placement.
  • The Easytronic electronic implement control, which is part of the standard equipment, ensures that tramline preparation can be reliably and comfortably controlled and monitored.
  • The Saphir 7 is available in a hydraulic, semi-mounted version or as AutoLoad version with three-point attachment, with seed hopper volumes of 650 to 1,100 litres.
  • In the mounted version, the Saphir 7 is placed directly on top of the roller of the soil cultivation implement. The Saphir 7 AutoLoad version can be either coupled to the tractor via the three-point linkage or combined with seedbed preparation implements.
