Kristall Compact Cultivator – The New Models
Complete series of new LEMKEN cultivator generation
Following last year's successful market launch LEMKEN has now extended the new Kristall cultivator generation. The fully-mounted Kristall compact cultivator is now available in working widths of three, three and a half and four metres, as well as the folding version in working widths of four, five and six metres. The summer of 2011 will see the introduction of semi-mounted folding variants of four, five and six metre working widths, and next year will be followed by the versions for the Gigant system carrier in working widths of eight to twelve metres.
The Kristall is equipped, as standard, with the advanced TriMix shares, which conduct three tasks in a single pass. The share tip penetrates deep into the soil to break it up, the wing shares mix it whereupon the attached rotated wings break up the soil again. The additional wing polish serves to enhance the flow properties. Thanks to the triple efficiency of the TriMix shares, the Kristall requires fewer tines, which in turn makes it particularly easy to pull. In this way it practically mixes the soil as would three-beam and multi-beam cultivators.
Alternatively, the Kristall compact cultivator can also be equipped with the new DuoMix shares, which - in contrast to the TriMix shares - are fitted with straight wings. They guarantee smooth operation on light, sticky soil and they are particularly well-suited for working on level to medium-depth stubble cultivation as well as seed bed preparation.
